Canoeing on the Pere Marquette 8 2008

Lilly loves coming with us but makes the canoe quite tippy!
She'll jump in the water after a prey and then get scared and want us to rescue her back into the canoe, which makes for a funny scene.
Jason is the main paddler and I'm the main photographer, haha!
This is a fun & beautiful loop on the Pere Marquette River! It's pretty shallow so no power boats come through and there's lots of wildlife. If you are ever in the Ludington area you can go too!

Rockin in the 80's with White Cross & Jason Porter

Hi, you have all GOT to see this video! Jason makes his 80's hairband debut!!!...pause the video at 3:22 and look for the boy with a mullet in a yellow shirt. Yes! That's Jason! He's singing his heart out with the 80's Christian rock band WHITE CROSS, while on a missions trip in Nicaragua. :) Song is called "In the Kingdom". He appears a few other times after that too if you keep an eye out for him. Love it! It's so cute! And the hair is hilarious!

The Rider on the White Horse

This is a picture I took behind my house in Coopersville that I call 'The Rider on the White Horse' b/c it reminds me of the terrifiyingly awesome lighting and blinding glory of Jesus Christ returning before the battle of Armageddon. (Click photo to view larger)

"And then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He whose rider is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war. His eyes are like blazing fire, and on His head are many crowns. He has a name written on Him which no one knows except Himself.
